Hard Contact Lenses
Rigid gas permeable hard
contact lenses are much more comfortable than the 'old fashioned' hard contact lenses that use to be available. The new gas permeable contacts allow for more air flow around the cornea providing more comfort to the wearer. The gas permeable lenses also maintain there shape much better than a soft contact lens. This provides the wearer with a crisper vision. Some gas permeable hard contact lens wearers can never transfer over to a soft contact lens because they prefer the clarity of vision that they can get from the hard contact lens. These lenses are very durable and will outlast a soft lens.
